We are currently undergoing recruitment for a Counterbalance FLT Operative to join our client in the Welshpool area. This role can be completed as a full time position or a job share on part time basis (please see working hours below).

• £12.50 per hour
• Monday – Friday
• Full time:
  • 04:00 – 09:00 / 14:00 – 18:00
• Part Time:
  • AM: 04:00 – 09:00
  • PM: 14:00 – 18:00

Main roles and responsibilities:

• Prior experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment—loading and unloading pallets for a large HGV and trailer fleet—is preferred, though full training will be provided for the right candidates
• Perform daily inspections and safety checks on forklift trucks
• Carry out all tasks in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment
• Ensure accurate, safe, and damage-free loading and unloading of inbound and outbound pallets

Skills and requirements:

• Valid Forklift License (Counterbalance) - Experience preferred but full training will be given to suitable applicants.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to lift heavy items and work in varying temperature conditions.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in a warehouse setting.
