We’re currently undergoing recruitment for a Electronics Design Engineer for our well establish client in the Welshpool area.

• Monday – Friday
• 08:30 – 17:00
• £45,000 per annum

Skills and requirements:

• A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in the design, simulation, analysis, and testing of both digital and analogue electronic circuits.
• Strong understanding of microcontrollers and their operation.
• Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Well-organized, with a strong attention to detail.

Desirable skills and requirements:

• Proficiency in Altium Designer for PCB development.
• Experience using SPICE tools for electronics modelling and simulation.
• Familiarity with implementing physical communication layers such as UART, SPI, I2C, USB, CAN, RS232, and RS485.
• Firmware development experience on 32-bit ARM microcontrollers.
• Knowledge of EMC compliance testing and design, especially for conducted and radiated emissions.
• A Masters degree or PhD in a relevant field.
