We’re currently undergoing recruitment for Factory operatives to join our new client in the Bishops Castle area. Working hours are as follows:

• Monday – Friday
• 07:00 – 18:00
• £11.44 per hour

Main roles and responsibilities:

• Undertake a variety of tasks across the production line.
• Food handling raw product
• To ensure food hygiene and safety
• Manual handling tasks
• Work in a variety of different temperature-controlled environments
• Undertake safe operation of in-house cutting equipment in line with company and legal requirements.
• Take responsibility for the proper storage and use of company PPE (to include knives).
• Any other reasonable tasks as required.

Skills and Qualities:

• Ability to work within a physically demanding and safety critical role.
• Have an excellent standard of personal hygiene to meet company standards.
• Be able to demonstrate a high level of competence.
• Have a proven knowledge of health and safety and hygiene regulations is desirable.
• Previous experience within a similar role is desirable.
• Cutting equipment skills desirable (Including Knives).
• The ability to perform skill tasks with high speed and accuracy.
