We’re currently undergoing recruitment for an FLT Operative to join our Client in the Carno area.

• Monday – Friday
• £14.00 per hour
• Working hours pay vary – this is to be discussed at interview stage

Main roles and responsibilities:

• Operate FLT vehicles to transport stock between unloading areas, salting stations, storage, and dispatch zones.
• Load and unload deliveries with care to avoid damage.
• Ensure accurate placement of stock in designated storage areas for curing.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in line with health and safety procedures.
• Conduct daily safety checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
• Work closely with the production teams to meet daily targets.
• Keep detailed records of stock movements and ensure correct labelling.
• Adhere to all PPE and manual handling protocols.
• Support general warehouse duties when not on FLT, including cleaning, packing, etc.

Skills and requirements:

• Valid FLT License
• Experience working in a warehouse or production environment
• Physically fit and comfortable handling animal by-products
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
