We’re currently undergoing recruitment for General Operatives in the Newtown area.

• £12.21 per hour
• Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00
• Friday: 08:00 – 13:00

Main roles and responsibilities:

• Operate machinery and equipment used in the manufacture of OE-spec weights.
• Carry out manual handling and assembly tasks as required in the production process.
• Follow work instructions, production schedules, and safety guidelines at all times.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet strict OE standards.
• Support with packing, labelling, and stock movement within the facility.
• Report any equipment faults, safety issues, or quality concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area, adhering to 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.

Skills and requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures accurately.
• Physically fit and capable of handling repetitive tasks and manual lifting.
• Flexible, reliable, and willing to work shifts or overtime as needed.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
