We’re currently undergoing recruitment for a Business Development Executive to join our prestigious and dynamic client in the Welshpool area. This is a full time, straight to permanent position.

Main roles and responsibilities:

• Collaborate with new and existing customers to create and implement sales plans that drive business growth.
• Address customer queries and concerns promptly, providing updates and information to ensure the company remains a preferred and reliable partner.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities through meetings, networking, exhibitions, and other channels.
• Work closely with the Sales team to develop effective sales and market strategies.
• Negotiate contracts and supply agreements with key customers.
• Prepare financial forecasts and regional sales targets.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and other industry events.
• Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and participate in sales meetings.
• Generate detailed monthly and annual reports for management.
• Provide feedback to Product Management and Innovation teams on product improvements and future development needs to maintain a competitive edge.
• Contribute to the development of new products for emerging strategic markets.

Skills and Qualities:

• Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) technology, including the ability to explain and demonstrate its features and benefits to customers.
• Highly motivated, with a proactive approach to identifying new customers and business opportunities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel and work internationally.
• Proficient IT skills (experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce is a plus).
• Ability to regularly update and maintain company CRM systems.
• Strong decision-making, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
• Experience in writing detailed reports.
• Fluency in additional languages is advantageous.
