We are currently undergoing recruitment for a skilled Carpenter to join our newest client on their Welshpool site. We’re looking for someone to jump in at the foundations stage of the build.

This position has a starting rate of £15.59 per hour and the working hours are as follows:

• Monday – Thursday
• 07:00 – 17:00

Main roles and responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and shape wood using hand and power tools.
• Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws, adhesives, or other fastening methods.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements and dimensions.
• Plan layout and installation based on measurements and specifications.
• Build, install, and repair structures, including frameworks, partitions, joists, rafters, staircases, doors, windows, and more.
• Perform routine maintenance on carpentry tools and machinery.
• Ensure all work adheres to building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to minimize hazards.
• Any other reasonable request, as required.
• You must hold a valid CSCS card or equivalent qualifications.
