We are currently undergoing recruitment for a skilled ground worker to join our newest client on their Welshpool site. We’re looking for someone to jump in at the foundations stage of the build.

This position has a starting rate of £15.59 per hour and the working hours are as follows:

• Monday – Thursday
• 07:00 – 17:00

Main roles and responsibilities:

• Assist with shuttering and groundwork of our Welshpool site.
• Assist in clearing construction sites, including removing debris and preparing the ground
• Prepare foundations, trenched for utility installations and drainage systems
• Mix and pour concrete for foundations and other ground level structures
• Assist with installing drainage systems, sewer and pipes according to project blueprints
• Aid other skilled carpenters and trades people, as required.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe working practices.
• Have the ability to read plans
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the construction site to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
• You must hold a valid CSCS card or equivalent qualifications.
