We are currently undergoing recruitment for a Systems Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic client in the Llanidloes area.

The working ours are as follows:

• Monday – Friday
• 07:30 – 16:30
• £30,000 - £60,000 Per annum, this will be dependent on experience and will be discussed at interview stage.

Main roles and responsibilities:

• To carry out on-site installation and commissioning projects
• Carry out the factory acceptance tests
• Develop HMI, PLC and Robotic programmes
• Train all operators working onsite with the use of machinery following its installation
• Liaise with Senior Management on project progress
• Provide technical support to clients where required
• Provide the technical reports and other documentation as required

Skills and Qualities we are looking for in a candidate:

• Full Clean, UK Driving license
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within reactive and small project maintenance
• Understanding and experience with Siemans PLC’s & ABB robotic systems is advantageous
• Be willing to travel to our various sites when required (UK Mainly & Europe when required)
• Have a strong understanding of equipment mechanics and design
• Be fully IT literate
• Can report clear and concise information to worksheets
• Someone with good customer service skills
• Have a proactive approach to work
