Starting salary £13.16

This is a rotating shift role, working Monday to Friday.

Week 1) Mon-Thursday 6am-2pm and Friday 6am-1pm

Week 2) Mon-Thursday 2pm-10pm and Friday 1pm-8pm

Opportunity for overtime is available on a Saturday morning at time and half, £15.75

Full training and inductions are given to all successful candidates, therefore previous experience is not essential although would be beneficial.

The main qualities we are looking for from our candidates;

• Reliable and punctual
• Willingness to learn and become a part of the team
• Use initiative, and complete tasks given to the best of their ability
• Able to communicate well and ask questions to those training
• Good understanding of English
• Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
• Good housekeeping skills, ensuring they work tidily to always keep workspace neat and free from clutter.

General duties include;

• Ensuring complete accuracy when picking and packing the stock for customer orders.
• Loading and unloading of stock between holding areas.
• Assisting machine operators
• General tidying up duties, including sweeping, preparation of surfaces/machines for operations as it is essential the site is kept as tidy as possible, at all times.
• The role does not involve excessive heavy lifting, machinery is mostly used to move stock around.

The position is within walking distance of the train station, and easily walkable for those residing in Welshpool. Free car parking is also available on site.
