We are currently undergoing recruitment for a Woodworker in the Newtown area.

A successful candidate will be expected to assist in all stages of production, from cutting and sanding, to finishing products. We’re looking for a detail-oriented candidate who has the ability to work in a fast paced environment and the ability to meet order deadlines.

This is a full-time position with a starting rate of £11.50 per hour and the working hours are as follows:

• Monday – Friday
• 08:00 – 16:00
• 8 hours per day with 30 minutes break

Main roles and responsibilities:

• Assembly products to exact specifications
• Cutting, sanding and finishing wood for customer orders
• Ensuring high-quality finishes while working to meet production deadlines
• Lifting and moving heavy materials as part of production and installation
• Managing your own workload and ensuring all tasks are completed on time
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace

• Excellent time-keeping and punctuality
• Proven ability to follow precise measurements
• Ability to follow written instructions
• Previous experience in the same role or similar
