We are currently undergoing recruitment for Assembly operatives for our client in the Oswestry area.

• Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00
• Friday: 08:00 – 14:00
• £12.21 Per hour
• 38 Hours per week

Main roles and responsibilities:

• Assemble plastic components and bearing systems according to technical specifications and production guidelines.
• Operate a range of production machinery, including plastic injection moulding machines and CNC equipment (basic operation or loading/unloading, depending on skill level).
• Conduct routine visual and manual quality checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Follow work orders, drawings, and written instructions accurately.
• Pack finished products safely and correctly for dispatch or further processing.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area, following 5S and health & safety standards.
• Report any equipment faults, material issues, or deviations from specification to the team leader or supervisor.
• Assist with machine changeovers, cleaning, and basic maintenance as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and productivity targets.

Skills and requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment is beneficial, but not essential as training will be required.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
